3 Quick Things: Now Calling Jerome Tang to the Stand
One Question, One Stat, One Tweet from KU-KState
One Question: Does Jerome Tang actually believe what he said?
After Tuesday's game, Tang said, "I know that up until 1988, K-State had more conference titles and Final Four appearances than Kansas."
I have a hard time believing Tang thinks this is true. The numbers aren't all that close. KU had three more Final Fours and 21 more conference titles than Kansas State. The quote is very Bruce Weber-ish, which I’d be concerned about if I was a KState fan.
Tang has been in the Big 12 long enough to not be this oblivious. Either Tang was told this by someone else and believed it at face value, or he knows it's inaccurate but liked the sound of it anyway.
The whole thing reminds me of the Seinfeld scene where Jerry asks George Costanza how to beat a lie detector test. Costanza's parting wisdom is "It's not a lie if you believe it."

Travis Kelce was partying in Lawrence last night. It looks like Gradey Dick went to go meet him at The Hawk. You love to see it.
