HEARING: Missouri Fans Got The Wrong Bus
This is not a joke. The Antlers thought KU showed up to the arena nine hours early.

Mizzou students “The Antlers” are known for their intimidation tactics before KU plays Missouri. They've famously called players' phones all night, set off hotel fire alarms, and now you can add... messing with the Jackson State women's basketball team's bus to the list.1
THE HEARINGS can confirm Mizzou's student group mistakenly ran up on the Jackson State bus thinking it was KU showing up for the game. The Antlers even tweeted about it at 7:15am on Saturday. Some people understandably thought it was a bad joke. Surely students of basketball powerhouse Missouri would know KU wouldn't show up to the arena NINE HOURS before the game.
Nope, it turns out this was real. If only they had gotten the right bus. Maybe the game would have been closer.
You know, I was actually impressed with Missouri. It only lost by 28 points to KU, an impressive showing and a clear improvement on their 37-point loss last season.
Some reasons why:
The Tigers shot 46% from the field. I mean, how many teams shoot 46% and lose by 28? Not many. This team accomplishes the unthinkable.
Only eight Jayhawks scored. Last year, KU had 12 players put the biscuit in the basket.
The Tigers were the first team ever to shut Cam Martin down. He was completely ineffective. Impressive.
Norm Stewart stayed awake for the entire game.
Their fans kindly allowed the KU faithful to do “The Chant” at the end of the game. And, like, only 60% left early!
Missouri remains two spots ahead of in-state rival St. Louis in Kenpom. They’re just 12 spots behind a UAB team that lost to Toledo.
It was their first home loss to Kansas in a decade.
Their football coach got a Twitter shout out from Lane Kiffin!
Only one battery was thrown on the court (this is also not a joke and really happened).
Maybe next time, Mizzou students will identify the right bus, so they don’t have to throw a battery. With some more practice, they can get the time of arrival for visiting teams down.
I believe in them.
They were in town to play Mizzou the next day.
Mizzou really is the gift that keeps on giving
Mizzou couldn’t comp Dinkwitz better seats than that?
